Summary[edit]

Description
English: A series of two prints, both rain scenes. The top image depicts a large wagon being pulled by mules or horses, seemingly stuck in the mud behind a line of soldiers. "Stuck in the Mud." (written below image). The bottom image depicts a long line of soldiers, several on horses, marching in the rain. "A flank march across country during a thunder shower." (written below image). "Copy-righted 1876 by E. Forbes." and "PLATE 19." (printed below image).
