Summary[edit]

Description
English: Microphotographs of sections were obtained in the Poltava State Agrarian University. Using a 5Mpix digital camera mounted on the MikroMed (China) microscope and software ImageJ for Windows® (version 2.00). Head of fleas of the genus Ctenocephalides is divided by the antennal fossa to the frontal and posterior (occipital) parts. In the frontal part of the head there are forehead, mouth, geni, gulas, eyes and bristles. Eyes are large round-oval, dark, well visible. There is an antenna in the antennal fossa. Moreover, the front part of the antennal fossa is covered by the edge of gula with a false tooth at the end.

Використано цифрову камеру до микроскопу MikroMed 5Mpix (China) та програмне забезпечення ImageJ for Windows® (version 2.00). Голова у бліх роду Ctenocephalides розділена вусиковою ямкою на передню (лобну) і задню (тім’яну) частини. У передній частині голови розрізняють: лоб, ротовий апарат, щоки, щічний край, очі та щетинки. Очі великі округло-овальні, темні, добре помітні. У вусиковій ямці розташований вусик – антена. Передня частина вусикової ямки прикрита краєм щічної лопаті, яка на кінці закінчується несправжнім зубчиком.
