Afrikaans: Die oorsprong van goud: Dit is onseker waar en hoe goud ontstaan. Die relatiewe gemiddelde van die voorkoms van goud in ons sonnestelsel blyk meer te wees as wat in die vroeë heelal, in sterre of selfs in tipiese supernova-ontploffings gevorm kon word. Sommige astronome meen dat neutronryke swaarmetale soos goud die maklikste in neutronryke ontploffings, soos die botsing tussen neutronsterre, gevorm kan word.
