Description March 17, 1953. Frame houses that will be exposed to blast and heat from the atomic bomb detonation at the Nevada Proving Ground. These two houses are being used in an important part of the Federal Civil Defense phase of the test, each building having been selected from a number of standard American designs by the FCDA and the American Institute of Architects.
