  • It is another kind of work, and 70 years have passed since the year of death of the author (or last-surviving author)
  • It is an "expressions of traditional folklore and art" or "political speeches, speeches delivered in the court"
  • It is one of "official documents, legal acts, treaties and the official translations thereof, state emblems and signs (flags, coats of arms, medals, monetary signs)"

You must also include a United States public domain tag to indicate why this work is in the public domain in the United States. Note that a few countries have copyright terms longer than 70 years: Mexico has 100 years, Jamaica has 95 years, Colombia has 80 years, and Guatemala and Samoa have 75 years.
