Description
English: Texture Playback with the Two-Dimensional Piezoelectric Motor The motor consists of two pairs of piezoelectric wafers with axes meeting at a mobile joint. The whisker to be stimulated was placed inside the metal tube, which is orthogonal to the joint. The film shows playback of four 125-ms free whisks in the air, consisting of protraction (left to right) and retraction (right to left). Recorded at 500 frames per second. (9.0 MB MOV).
