English: Gravitational light deflection at a neutron star Deutsch: Umlauf eines masselosen Begleitsterns (rot) um einen Neutronenstern (blau). Der Begleitstern befindet sich schräg hinter dem Neutronenstern. Sein Anblick wird durch die gravitative Lichtablenkung verzerrt. Die Geometrie und Farbgebung der dargestellten Szene ist astrophysikalisch völlig unrealistisch (in dieser Nähe eines Neutronensterns wäre ein Begleiter nicht stabil). Sie wurde so gewählt, dass der Einfluss der gravitativen Lichtablenkung deutlich zu sehen ist. Masse des Neutronensterns: 1, Radius des Neutronensterns: 4, Radius des Begleitsterns: 8, Bahnradius: 20, alle Zahlenwerte in dimensionslosen Einheiten. |
