English: Newton Bridge This bridge, just south of the village of Newton, carries the B6478 Clitheroe to Slaidburn road over the River Hodder, which forms the boundary between Lancashire and the historic West Riding of Yorkshire, or did so until 1974 when some chinless wonder decided the whole are should be administered by Lancashire. |
