English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
00:00 The Dutch ship "Sibajak" arrives in the harbour of Tandjong Priok with women and children of Dutch citizens and soldiers in Indonesia. The men are waiting on the quay. After the ship has moored, the people leave the ship and join their relatives on the quay; some men board the ship and meet their family there. 00:50 A railway with three spannings over the Prong river that has been blown up is repaired by Indonesian workers. Every day they're taken to and from their work place in a small train, which is pulled by a jeep on railway wheels.

00:00 In de haven van Tandjong Priok arriveert het Nederlandse schip "Sibajak" met aan boord vrouwwen en kinderen van Nederlandse burgers en militairen in Indonesië. Op de kade wachten de mannen. Nadat het schip heeft aangelegd gaan mensen van boord en voegen zich bij hun wachtende verwanten op de kade; sommige mannen gaan aan boord van het schip en ontmoeten hun familie daar. 00:50 Een spoorbrug met drie overspanningen over de Prongrivier is opgeblazen en wordt door Indonesische arbeiders gerepareerd. Dagelijks worden ze mbv een werktreintje, dat wordt getrokken door een op spoorwielen rijdende jeep, heen en terug gebracht naar de werkplek. |
