| Description |
English: During 1991 I was lucky enough to be assigned Poland as a Sales Territory by my employer at that time, Philips Scientific, in Cambridge. Travelling around that great country I was able to make two visits to the operational steam locomotive depot at Wolsztyn during 1991 and on Poland's National Day - 3rd May 1992. On the first trip, I cabbed an OL49 and hitched a ride to the station. On the second, I was able to get haulage behind 4-8-2 Pt47-65 as far as Rakoniewice. The staff on shed were very helpful and friendly and I had a great time on both visits! |
