Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Old lifeboat station, Portrush. Portrush has had a lifeboat since 1860. During that time it has had four different lifeboathouses. This is the third one (1902-1928) at Lansdowne to the east of Ramore Head. The boat was launched down the slipway in the foreground. The present lifeboat is kept at moorings in the harbour. This boathouse is now the public toilets.
