Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.; Onthulling van het monument "Marine en Wetenschap" (door W.J. van Dijck ?) namens het Algemeen Nederlandsch Comité "Onze Marine" op het terrein van de Onderzeedienst te Den Helder, oa in aanwezigheid van prof.dr.ir. F.A. Vening Meinesz en een groot aantal officieren. Met het monument wordt hulde gebracht aan Vening Meinesz voor zijn geslaagd wetenschappelijk onderzoek dat hij aan boord van Nederlandse onderzeeërs uitvoerde. Het monument bevat een bronzen plaquette met oa de afbeelding van F.A. Vening Meinesz.
