Eucalyptus curtisii. General Information: Small tree (to 8 m high) often with more than one stem. Bark smooth, greyish, shedding in short, curly flakes.Flowers in Spring. Adult leaves alternate, lanceolate, apex pointed, discolourous, dense reticulation, oil glands obscure or absent. Inflorescences: Terminal panicle, 7 per umbel, buds pyriform, obovoid or ovoid, 4 small sepals on the buds. Flowering time Spring, Summer. Fruit: Cupular to truncate-globose, longitudinally wrinkled, valves below rim level. Distribution: SE QLD Australia Location: Brisbane suburban. Read the note on the photo. |
