The superior vesical arteries are also 70 TOPOGRAPHICAL ANATOMY. seen. It is important to note the unusual injection in the neighborhood of thecervix uteri. Figs. 35 and 36 show the vascularization of the vesical mucosa, andexhibit beautifully the dendritic arrangement of the little branches of thesuperior, middle, and inferior vesical vessels as they plunge through thecoats of the bladder and come to view on the mucous surface, branchingout into small vessels and capillaries. It will be seen that certain definiteareas of the bladder are constantly vascularized by the same groups ofvessels.
