Summary[edit]

Description
English: "Orlando" is a novel that is located on the fringes of the literary evolution of V. Woolf. It’s not, as in "Mrs. Dalloway", "The Waves" or "To the Lighthouse" to describe the extreme transient and continuous changes of consciousness and its originality is to be spread over three centuries, England and other countries and that the first plan to establish the narrator's biography of his hero-heroine since Orlando changes sex in the middle of the story. Orlando is a man first, but once women become, it will continue to love women: "As Orlando has never liked women, and that human nature is always pulling the ear before adapting to new agreements, although women in turn, was a woman still loved it ... "This woman is in reality the novelist Vita Sackville-West's friend Virginia admire that because" it dare to live openly duality of his nature”. But far from assuming smoothly for both sexes (as Vita), Orlando is torn by conflict.
