Summary[edit]
DescriptionOslo Rathaus 10.JPG |
Deutsch: Stadtseite des Rathauses, Oslo, Südnorwegen English: City side of the City Hall, Oslo, Southern Norway
Norsk bokmål: Rådhuset i Oslo : fører gjennom bygningen side 11-12 (utgitt 1952): «To store dører fører inn til Rådhushallen. |

The Norwegian Copyright in Literary, Scientific and Artistic Works Act, in section 31 says that works of art and photographic works may be depicted when they are permanently mounted or located in or near a public place or a publicly accessible passage through some place. However, this does not apply when the work is clearly the main subject and the reproduction is exploited commercially. The same section says buildings may be freely depicted.
Since Commons requires that all images be free for commercial use, buildings are the only copyrighted works in Norway for which the FOP exception applies for Commons. See COM:CRT/Norway#Freedom of panorama for more information.English ∙ norsk bokmål ∙ +/− |
