Petzoldt, commanding officer of the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS City of Corpus Christi (SSN 705), presents the ship’s national ensign to Rear Adm. (ret.) Winford G. “Jerry” Ellis, City of Corpus Christi’s first commanding officer and former commander of the Pacific Submarine Force, during a Memorial Day decommissioning ceremony at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
