Description

Este jueves llegó a Iquique el Papa Francisco para finalizar su visita por Chile, la cual comenzó el lunes 15 de enero en la ciudad de Santiago. El campus Lobito, al sur de la capital regional, fue el escenario para que el Santo Padre entregara su mensaje final, donde destacó a Iquique como una “tierra de sueños” para los extranjeros que llegan a la región de Tarapacá. La presidenta Michelle Bachelet fue la encargada de despedir a Su Santidad, momento en que aprovechó de agradecer a la comitiva organizadora y a los chilenos que acompañaron esta visita Papal.
