He sits on the ground crosslegged and barefooted with a cloth wrapped around his head. Behind him stands the inverted lopped-off-cone-shaped dwelling with thatched walls and roof impregnated with mud. A pottery jar and several pails sit near the framed entry. A washboard lays against the dwelling at left. Brush dots the desert in the background.
