Description

Svenska: Skaft: Övre delen munstycke, ca 160 mm långt av gråbeiget horn med en lös sexkantig hornplatta nedtill. Munstycket skruvas fast vid ett böjbart läderparti virat med metallsnodd. Där nedanför ett 105 mm långt rör av horn med två sexsidiga ansvällningar. Mellan dessa två sistnämnda delar en lös rund skiva med oogämna kant av hjorthorn (nedre delen av kronan). Nedre delen av skaftet, 650 mm långt, är utfört i svärtat trä, sexsidigt, spiralformat, fassetterat och koniskt.
Piphuvud: Piphuvudet av briarrot (Erica arborea, fr. bruyere) och silver. Främre delen ca 360 mm högt. I vinkel mot främre delen, bakre delen något böjd upp mot skaftet. Piphuvudets öppning omgivet av oval silverplatta med lock på gångjärn och s-formad tillslutningshake. På lockets nederkant genombrutet bladverk. På silverplattan under locket graverat ”Vagtig 22 Lod”. Piphuvudets bakre del upptill täckt av en silverplatta med koniskt fäste för skaftet. På fästet en orm formad som en ögla. Jaktscener utskurna på piphuvudets sidor. På ena sidan en jägare och tre kronhjortar, på andra fem hundar som driver en kronhjort. Två av hundarna på hjortens rygg. Träd runt om hela piphuvudet.
Snoddar: Från skaftes övre del till ormöglan löper två silkesnoddar i rött, numera blekt, och gult med påsydda glaspärlor. Vardera snodden avlsutas med en tofs.
Nedtill på skaftet stämplat ”J. AUREL STOCKHOLM”. På fästet mellan skaft och huvud dem stämplar. Silverstämplar: ”EIS” (sannolikt tyska stämplar från 1838), och en ”gubbe”. På silverpaltta på under locket stämplat två gånger ”S1”.
