Description
Svenska: I juli 1932 tillkallades "kravallpolis" söderifrån i samband med att strejker utbrutit på flera håll under våren, bl a i Klemensnäs. Polisens uppgift var att skydda de strejkbrytare som Scharins anställt, något som ledde till öppna konfrontationer mellan arbetare och strejkbrytarna. Många skadades på båda sidor under bråken. Birger tog bilden västerut från övervåningen i Lars Anton Bäckmans hus. På lägdorna bortom den nuvarande Scharinsvägen byggdes senare nytt kontor (1944) och brukshotell/tjänstemannamäss (1947).
