Summary[edit]

Description
English: Poplar Mountain Falls was first sighted by the Honey Badger, Thomas Mabry, from a distance on the flanks of Poplar Mountain, NC while hiking in Panthertown Valley. Investigation revealed that this 50' sliding cascade was on a tributary to Flat Creek in the Sassafras Mountain/Blackrock Mountain watershed at the elevation level of 4049 feet. The gps coordinates of Poplar Mountain Falls are 35.18030, -83.03181.
