Post-Medieval Cufflink
Description
English: A post-Medieval silver cufflink (c. 1725-c. 1800). The cufflink is circular in plan, convex at the front and concave at the rear. At the centre of the rear there is a soldered silver wire elongated loop (18.9 x 16.9), circular in cross-section, with a diameter of 1.8mm. On the front, at the centre, there is an inscribed capital letter: P. Close to the edge, at the rear, there is a maker's mark, ligated capital letters: MB. The object is in good condition and is very worn at the front. Diameter: 18.8mm; thickness: 5.6mm. Weight: 2.61g.
