Post medieval dress hook with heart shape
Description
English: Post medieval hooked tag (or dress hook) cast in one piece from copper alloy. The tag has a rectangular shaped loop protruding from the top for attachment to a strap or ribbon. Below this is a sub-circular openwork plate. The decoration within the plate is heart shape suspended between the two outside edges of the tag. The back of the hook is flat. The tag has a slightly tapering hook, the tip of which is bent back on itself. The tag weighs 1.57g and measures 25.5mm in length and 13mm in width.
