Description
English: Prior's Gate, The Monastic Precincts of Peterborough Cathedral. The Prior's Gate was built c. 1510 by Abbot Robert Kirkton as the entrance to his own deer park. The Prior's Gate is plastered with symbols flattering the new Tudor dynasty.
