Summary[edit]
DescriptionProjected changes over the 21st century in the atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide using the IPCC "SRES" emissions scenarios.gif |
English: This image shows three graphs of projected changes over the 21st century in the atmospheric concentrations of three greenhouse gases: carbon dioxide (chemical formula CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O). These projections are based greenhouse gas emissions scenarios contained in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's (IPCC) 2000 "Special Report on Emissions Scenarios" (SRES) (see the cited source). These projections do not include possible emission feedbacks from sources such as permafrost or the Amazon rainforest (sentence not supported by cited source - ed).
