Summary[edit]

Description
English: Puxton, Holy Saviour. Parish Church, Grade I. Largely 15th & 16th Century.

North porch dated 1557. Tower leans considerably to west. Inside worth a visit with Reading desk and panelled octagonal pulpit flanking chancel arch, wrought iron hourglass stand by pulpit. Early/mid 16th Century heavy oak pews in most of nave. 5 18th Century box pews. Norman tub font, scraped, 17th Century strapwork cover.

17th Century door with bar at south. Royal arms, 1751 over south door.
