  • English: “WWII veteran Filipp Zhgirov with soldiers-internationalists”. The commemorative medal "To Soldier-Internationalist from the Grateful Afghan People" being received by a group of Soviet servicemen as well as reserve soldiers who performed their military duty. Yury Shikov (second right), a Hero of the Soviet Union. Filipp Zhgirov (third right), a veteran of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, a Hero of the Soviet Union.
