Descrierea stemei

Potrivit anexei nr. 1.2, stema comunei Stoenești se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular albastru cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu undat, de argint. În partea superioară se află o cruce treflată, de aur. În vârful scutului se află un brad de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate

Crucea semnifică edificiile de cult din localitate, precum și crucea de piatră, ce datează din timpul lui Mihai Viteazu. Brâul undat reprezintă râul Dâmboviţa. Bradul simbolizează bogăţia silvică a zonei.

Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
