Description
English: Sculpture group Torfstecher und Sohn bei der Arbeit (Peat Cutter and Son at Work) in Recke, Kreis Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The memorial recalls the history of peat cutting in Recke. It was made by Heinz Stall and Josef Struck after suggestions by Werner Heukamp and Josef Surholt.
Deutsch: Skulpturen-Gruppe Torfstecher und Sohn bei der Arbeit an der Ecke Rothertshausener Straße/Kuhstraße in Recke, Kreis Steinfurt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Die lebensgroßen Figuren wurden 2009 aufgestellt. Nach einer Idee von Werner Heukamp und Josef Surholt sind sie von Josef Struck entworfen und von Heinz Stall im Steinguss-Verfahren erschaffen worden.
