REVOVLVING ORE DRIER
Plates No. 51 and 52 ... represent two sizes of Revolving Ore Dryers, used for handling large quantities of wet ore in dry crushing ilver mills. The dryer consists of a tapered cast iron cylinder, made in sections, bolted and pitted together convenient for handling. The ore is fed from the small end and travels gradually towards the fire end, where it discharges into a hot ore bin below, not shown on cut. By coming in contact with the flames from the fire box it is dried and ready for entering the stamp batteries. The cylinder revolves by means of a spur wheel and pinion at a very slow speed, regulated by a cone pulley on driving shaft, according to the moist condition of the ore.
We are prepared to build this dryer of any size and capacity required, and will be pleased to iurnish estimates and pecifications on application.
