| Description |
English: The Rob Roy Hotel (aka 'The Birdcage') being prepared to be moved about 30m up the hill, so that the Victoria Park Tunnel can be built underneath it's current and future location in Auckland, New Zealand. The building later was moved to the far right in this image on running beams, and then moved back. The original basement was removed, and it now sits on the tunnel portal. Looking south. |
