English: Roman Road near Holystone. The route of the Roman Road from Bremenium Fort in Redesdale to Alnwick is still traceable for much of its length and here it can be seen in the middle distance running left to right (W to E) next to the line of trees which just hides Campville from view. North Wood is behind on the hill. |
