Summary[edit]

Description
English: Rosa carolina, pasture rose (ID'd by straight thorns), at at the Onondaga Lake Cleanup Visitors Center on the way to touring the Geddes Brook Wetlands. Rose bushes were seen at Geddes Brook itself and may be Rosa virginiana, which is what were listed in the Geddes Brook plant list. No flowers were observed. Neglected to take pictures. Both of these species are native to Eastern North America, including New York State, where these sites are located.
