Description
English: Royal Oak, Boscobel House, Bishops Wood Perhaps surprisingly, this is the first image of one of the most famous trees in England on Geograph. King Charles II reputedly hid in a hollow oak at this spot in 1651 and thus avoided the fate of his father.
