| Description | A U.S. Navy Curtiss SB2C-5 Helldiver of Attack Squadron 11A (VA-11A) in flight over Gibraltar, in April 1948. VA-11A was assigned to Carrier Air Group 11 (CVG-11) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Valley Forge (CV-45) during her cruise around the World. Valley Forge departed San Diego, California (USA), westwards on 9 October 1947 and arrived back on 11 June 1948. |
