| Description |
English: Sallies, Lynch Lane. Brook below Lynch Lane marked by pollarded willows. Sally trees are often planted in damp ground and provide useful timber, fast! To plant a willow, simply cut a branch and stick it in wet ground. Only thing to remember - make sure it's the right way up. If you want to use it as a post, don't do as I have done, and forget to turn it round, you will get a living tree not a post. |
