Description
English: Built in AD1092 by the king Mahipala of the Kacchhapaghata dynasty of Madhya Pradesh this temple lies on the east of the Gwalior Fort campus.

By itself Gwalior Fort, the Pearl of India as Babur called it, is an immense and magnificent edifice exhibiting some of the most exquisite artworks with which the great Man Singh Tomar embellished the 8th century hill-fort. The Sas -Bahu temple lies on the eastern flank of the fort . Built by King Mahipala of the Kacchhapghata Dynasty in the eleventh century the temple is decked with curvings of Brhma, Visnu & Saraswati.
