Summary[edit]

Description
English: Satan's Den This notorious cutting at the summit of the old Deeside Railway between Torphins and Lumphanan has a bridge, crossing from the A980 to Tillyching and Denhead. It got the name due to its habit of filling up with snow in winter and obstructing trains passing. Now it is being used as a kind of land-fill, with the space under the bridge already lost to view.
