| Description | Scolpaig is a hamlet on the west coast of North Uist (Uibhist a Tuath), Outer Hebrides. It has an empty tower which was erected in the 19th century for the sole purpose of providing employment. Scolpaig Tower is situated on a small island in a lake. In the extreme left of the picture, the Atlantic Ocean can be seen. |
