This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 70000644.

Summary[edit]

Description Landes Block (also known as the Hotel Livingston or the Livingston-Baker Apartments), including the corner bar Virginia Inn, corner of First and Virginia in the Pike Place Market District, Seattle, Washington. Designed by Thompson & Thompson, built 1901 for Samuel Rosenberg (of the Kline & Rosenberg clothing store) as the Rosenberg Block, purchased by state senator Cyrus F. Clapp in 1905 and later by Henry Landes whose name still appears on the building, underwent major rehabilitation 1977.
