Description
English: Bobby Hoops, a retired Army sergeant first class, who was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder and a traumatic brain injury, watches as his son, Roger, participates in an equine therapy session at the Star Healing With Horses ranch June 17, 2014. Roger was diagnosed with secondary PTSD, which is suffered mainly by the children of service members who have PTSD. SHWH, located on the sprawling Parrie Haynes Ranch south of Fort Hood, is an organization dedicated to healing all who have experienced trauma, PTSD, and secondary PTSD and has helped many children transform their lives.
