Description In seiner statistischen Erörterung beschäftigt sich Hoffmann mit der Stellung und der räumlichen Verteilung der Juden in Deutschland. Er spricht über beiderseitige Vorurteile, erläutert Grundeinstellungen und setzt am Schluss eigene Anmerkungen dazu. Hoffmann versucht, die jüdischen Deutschen von einem für damalige Verhältnisse recht objektiven und emotionslosen Standpunkt zu betrachten, was ihm auch recht gut gelingt.
