| Description |
English: Sheffield Ski Village, Parkwood Springs, Sheffield. Built in the 1970's on the site of a housing estate which had originally provided housing for workers of the Great Central Railway. Despite being (reportedly) the largest Ski Slope in Europe ... it has had its 'Ups and Downs' but seems to be thriving again. Plans to build an overhead cable car link with the Sheffield Supertram system have been shelved ... shame as that would have been a first for Sheffield. 1125015 1125052 1125075 1125079 1125091 1126192 |
