Summary[edit]

Description Former train station in Sibambe, Ecuador. It used to be a junction - the track on the left used to go to Cuenca, the one on the right to Durán for Guayaquil. During my visit, both routes were unpassable, the train station together with the whole town was abandoned (no roofs, etc.) and only tourist trains for Devil's Nose (Nariz del Diablo) from Riobamba via Alausí made a short stop here before returning back.
