English: a) Printed on recto, scenic vignettes with two alternating views. Central view is of five figures and a dog on stairs surrounded by buildings and trees. The other scene, split between the top and bottom of the paper, is a boating scene in a harbor. Printed in orange-red, white and brown on ungrounded paper. "1958" printed in top left selvedge. Printed on verso, is "The Weekly Junior Register", dated April 9, 1863, from Franklin, Louisiana. Civil War newspaper; b) is a reproduction of the original wallpaper design. |
