Summary[edit]
DescriptionSilver Nanowires.jpg |
Eesti: Need imepeened, vaid mõnekümne nanomeetrise läbimõõduga, vardad on maailma ühed kõige peenemad hõbedast traadid, mis on elektrokeemiliselt sünteesitud poorse alumiiniumoksiidi sisse. Antud nanomaterjal on sünteesitud Tartu Ülikoolis, kus uuritakse selle võimalikke rakendusi sensorite valmistamisel. Lisaks sellele võib hõbedast nanovarraste abil valmistada painduvaid elektrit juhtivaid kuid samas läbipaistvaid materjale ning ka soojust- ja elektrit juhtivaid liime. Selliste nanovarraste "nägemiseks" tuleb aga footonite asemel kasutada elektrone, mis on võimalik kaasaegses skaneerivas elektronmikroskoobis. English: These rods have a diameter in the range of tens of nanometers, making them the thinnest silver wires in the world. Such wires can be synthesized by electrochemically depositing silver into a nanoporous aluminum oxide template. One of the most interesting applications for this nanomaterial are electrochemical sensors, flexible conductive materials and glues that conduct heat and electricity. In order to see such nanowires, one needs a powerful scanning electron microscope (SEM). English: Scanning electron microscope image of silver nanowires |
