Description
English: Sloans Ferry Bridge across Catawba River, between Charlotte and Gastonia, N.C. (Postcard) Written on the back: Sloans Ferry Bridge. This super-highway bridge, on U.S. 29 and 74, across Catawba River, was erected as a memorial to the men of the counties of Mecklenburg and Gaston, who served in the World War.
