| Description |
English: Slumped cliff between Burton and Cogden Beaches The cliffs behind this western stretch of the Chesil Bank are well-protected from the waves by the deep pebbly beach. These cliffs probably slip due to water seepage from inland rather than the direct action of waves - this particular slump has obviously been around for a while and a set of wooden steps has been installed to provide the caravan-dwellers with easy access to the beach. |
