Description
Nederlands: Het altaar van de St. Petrikirche in Soest (DE). Het werd, in opdracht van de familie Klepping, rond 1525 in Antwerpen vervaardigd. Het stelt . Jacobus de Meerdere en Reinoldus, Andreas Klepping met zijn zoons (buitenzijde linkerluik); De HH. Patroclus en Andreas, Elseke Sudermann met haar dochters (buitenzijde rechterluik); Anna Selbdritt (buitenzijde linker bovenluik) en een vrouwelijke heilige (buitenzijde rechter bovenluik) voor.
English: The altar of the St. Petrikirche in Soest (DE). It was built in Antwerp, ca. 1525, for the Klepping family. It shows St James, son of Zebedee and St Renaud de Montauban, Andreas klepping and his sons (left outer wing), St Patroclus of Troyes and St Andrew, Elseke Sudermann and her daughters (right outer wing), Anna Seibdritt (upper left outer wing) and a female saint (upper right outer wing).
